SRS Distribution (“SRS” or “the Company”) announced today that it has acquired CBS Wholesale, an independent distributor of residential roofing, siding, windows and related building products servicing the central Iowa market. The single location company sits just north of the city of Des Moines in Johnston and primarily serves remodeling contractors, residential and commercial roofers and home builders.

CBS Wholesale was founded in 1992 and currently employs 8 people. CBS's current product mix includes residential roofing products, siding, and a full selection of windows and related building products. Rick Monahan, CBS Wholesale’s current majority owner and the sales and operations team will be staying with the company. The CBS Wholesale location will migrate in the coming months to the Midwest Roofing & Siding brand to gain synergies with all the other existing Midwest branches in the region.
